When I worked in retail, I never got the allure of weekends. After all, these were the most busy days of the week, and if I was looking for a break, it would usually be on a Monday or something.
I often work with global teams, meaning that my mornings are someone else’s nights, and they’re starting my day just as I’m going to sleep.
I had a membership at a shared tool-sharing facility, and there were often rectangular pieces of wood that others threw away as scrap that I could quickly sand into really nice panels to paint on.
Things look very different from someone else’s worldview, so be sure you’re evaluating business ideas from your customers’ point-of-view, not your own.
