Slingshots are tools to help you shoot small things at great speeds and distances.
The interesting thing is that the purpose of the slingshot is to provide consistency (for aiming) as well as structure (elastic bands and a stable grip for resistance) for energy to be poured into. What this means is that the slingshot requires you to put in work in order to build up the energy to propel the projectile forward.
It seems like you’re not putting in that much energy, but by focusing all of the energy expended in pulling back the elastic bands, the slingshot optimizes your effort. It’s just like relationships.
Good relationships, whether they’re with your family, friends, colleagues, or clients, make everything better. It seems like they produce magical results out of thin air, but just like a slingshot, they do require investments of time, energy, and care in order to work well.
