My wife was told her package was late, and she was pleasantly surprised when it came a few days prior to when she was expecting it. It was still later than initially planned, but quicker than her most recent expectations.
I ordered something online and was told due to warehouse delays, it might take up to a month to make it to me. I ordered anyway, and was pleased to see that I got a shipping notification after a few days. However, upon checking the tracking information, the store says it has shipped, but USPS says that it has yet to receive the package.
Most people are fine with set-backs, delays, and mishaps if they know that they’re coming, but they’re not okay with having their expectations constantly broken.
