Gratitude

It can definitely feel like there’s not a whole lot to be grateful for.  Fires, typhoons, hurricanes, COVID. Ooooff.  #2020, amiright?

But if you’re reading this, you’re still better off than the 43% of the globe that still doesn’t have regular internet access.

I’m not going to go on and on about how lucky we are and how there’s still so much inequality and suffering in the world. But at the very least, we’re alive, and in a year like this which has taken so much from so many, that’s got to count for something, right?

Gratitude is an incredible gift that only you can give to yourself. It helps free the could-haves and should-haves that weigh us down, and pulls us into the present.

It centers us on the lives we’re leading right now, not in the future, not in the past, but right here, right now. And when we exist in the present, we can take action today to start shaping the future we want to live in.

Happy Thanksgiving, everyone, and I hope you know I’m grateful for all of you.
