If you’re looking to create a successful business quickly, find a need that many people have that you can fill, and fill it.
If you’re looking for personal satisfaction, create things that you would love yourself.
At the end of the day, you need to decide if what you’re offering is for you, or for others. And if you don’t need your business to grow quickly, you can always build things for yourself and offer them to others to see if anyone will take up the invitation.
At the end of the day, value is subjective and creating things for money is all about creating for others. If you choose to create for yourself, you’re creating something for yourself, and that may or may not resonate with others.
There’s no right or wrong way to do it, but you want to make sure that your definition of success is in line with who you’re creating for.
PS – I’m celebrating Friday the 13th by releasing a bunch of new art. You can find it all over here.
