Often we consider our hopes and dreams thinking about the positive side of the coin. We dream of being famous and think about the love and adoration we’d get from fans. We fantasize about being wealthy and the luxurious homes we might buy and the ability to quit our jobs.

But if we really, truly want to succeed in these specific metrics, we also need to consider the other side of the coin. 

Have you considered the lack of privacy celebrities get, or the very vocal hate comments? Have you considered the way people will treat you differently now that you have immense wealth, or the sudden incentive for terrible people to kidnap those you love? 

You’re perfectly right in whatever you dream about, but if you want those dreams to come true, are you willing to take the bad with the good?
