The seams of clothing literally are what holds your garment together. Without them, your only option would be a cape-like piece of cloth you’d wrap around yourself. 

You can choose to hide the seams as much as you can, or you could do things to accentuate the seams, like choosing different color thread, or large stitching. You could even celebrate it like the Catwoman costume from the 1992 film Batman Returns.

As a leader, the seams are the relationships that hold the fabric of your organization together. Just as with a garment, you can ignore them, think of them as unimportant and let them fray and tear. Or, you can choose to celebrate them, make sure they’re strong and sturdy, and approach them with as much care as you would any other part of your organization.
