Most people don’t realize there’s a difference between something being venomous vs. something being poisonous.

Venomous means that if it bites you, you’ll be injected with some sort of toxic agent.

Poisonous means that if you eat it, you’ll be putting something toxic into your body.

Toxic people who might initially start as venomous towards others will inevitably become poisonous to those around them. Choose your allies wisely.
