Waves

When you’re out on the ocean, the very nature of the ocean is for waves to rise and fall. It’s physics.

You might not like the rocking sensation – few do – and it might even make you seasick.

But life is just like the ocean in that you’re going to have successes and setbacks, boo-yahs and bummers.

We might hope that the crests are long and the troughs are short, but part of life is the uncertainty that we don’t know what the next wave is going to bring us.

So you can throw a tantrum, kick and scream, curse the universe, whatever, but at the end of the day, the only way through is forward.
