Part of Our Brains are Zombie Brains

The walking undead, especially the more recent versions that can run and climb things, can be pretty terrifying. The idea that these monsters have risen from the grave – defied something that is supposed to be universally law – is unsettling, at the very least.

I wonder how often our own insecurities and fears come back, even when we think we’ve put them to rest.

Perhaps the trick isn’t a double-tap to the head, but realizing that the faster we acknowledge that our fear is a part of who we are, and that it is never going to fully die, the faster we can begin to work and past that fear.
