I realize the brazen irony that a majority of you reading this will probably do so on social media, but as I consider how my role is perpetuating an increasingly unwieldy monster that is the algorithm-powered flow of information, I recommend you check out The Social Dilemma on Netflix, or at the very least, learn more about the film and the problem at their website.  

Who knows, perhaps even the film is just one way of social engineering that I’ve fallen prey to, but given my own propensity to scroll endlessly through social media seeking that dopamine hit, perhaps they’re on to something.
