For this, the idea of a corrupted Virgin Mary was my first instinct, and having a mostly-undressed, possessed woman wearing an inverted cross felt like a step in the right direction.  I originally wanted to make her wearing a habit, but I felt like this was a stronger choice.

Virality – Patient Zero

After a lot of Pandemic:Legacy, the idea of a mass outbreak of some sort of lethal virus was definitely on my mind while creating this album cover.  Death has often been represented in popular culture as a woman, and the idea of a patient zero being the harbinger of doom and decay fit nicely.

Prevent This Tragedy

Inspired by the Alkaline Trio of the same name, I wanted a clean, understated poster design.  While the song references the West Memphis Three, I looked into the more universal experience of sorrow and loss and focused my efforts there.

Riding Hood

If "Little Red Riding Hood" is a cautionary tale of budding female sexuality, I wanted to remake the tale to one embracing a woman's right to determine what she does with her own body.  In this case, I wanted to acknowledge both the allure and the danger of Red Riding Hood - not only is she well in control of her sexuality, but she also IS the hunter, ready to slay all those that attempt to transgress.

Reborn

Inspired by the concept of the films "Under the Skin" and "Species," I wanted to portray some sort of new hunter, transformed from human to something else, freshly emerging from her nutrient-rich soup.

Queen of Pain

An homage to the Alkaline Trio song, I wanted to showcase a modern, literal interpretation of a queen of pain.

Loss of Innocence

"Loss of Innocence" was my take on a dark pinup. I really wanted to keep the colors bright and cheery, but have a darker undertone there seeping into the candy-coated male gaze fantasy.
